Are you a tree or a twig?
Stuff just happens. Storms are inevitable. Trees that are deeply rooted because of their growth survive even the toughest of storms. Young saplings are often uprooted and do not survive a major storm.
Why do you think that everything you do should be easy or that you have perceived that you’ve received unfair treatment? Stop getting mad or offended (resentful or exasperated) over stuff happening. The more calm you stay during a difficult time or an annoying incident, the more you aggravate the devil. Satan loves offense and hates your spiritual growth.
How then can you grow spiritually stronger so you can withstand the inevitable storms of life? You grow by not being just an emotional hearer of God’s word. Apply God’s truth to your life. How you behave during the process matters. Get nourished consistently by God’s word and grow spiritually so the storms of life do not destroy you or your testimony. They will come - be prepared!
The question then is, are you a tree or a twig?
