Great Peace

Great peace have thy who love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 119:165

Not just peace, but great peace offered/promised here. What is the law? The law is love as Jesus states in Mark 12. If you find yourself constantly getting offended by what people say or do to you in general, maybe you should double check your love status. Learn not to take yourself so seriously. Don’t feel you need to correct someone else or let them know how you feel about their comments. Don’t hold grudges for what people say. Love looks beyond. Stop yourself short from being hurt by people’s comments. Dont however, throw the baby out with the bathwater here. Take what they say, analyze it, make corrections or adjustments in what you do accordingly as needed, and forget the rest. God will step in and speak to people’s hearts if necessary. You do not need to carry the load of offense when it comes to a passing insensitive statement or action. Many times people don’t realize how they sounded anyway. One statement isn’t a reflection of all that a person is. AND who knows, maybe you needed to address a situation in your own life that you are simply justifying by taking offence. Love people, don’t judge them. What people say or do is in God’s capable hands. Don’t carry that burden. Write it off if it doesn’t pertain to something you need to take care of. Great peace is worth it!
