Our Pastor
Rev. Ralph Edwards has spent his life walking alongside people in faith, service, and community. For the past 24 years, he has served as Pastor of Good Hope Lutheran Church, where he finds joy in sharing life’s journey with his congregation. Before entering ministry, Ralph served as a police officer and lieutenant for 16 years, experiences that shaped his heart for service and care. He is also chaplain for the Beaver Police Department, President of the Mahoning County Drug Free Coalition, and has joined medical mission teams in Nigeria and Mexico.
At his core, Ralph believes ministry is about presence—walking with people through their struggles, their healing, and their celebrations. He is a husband to Wendy, a proud dad to Andrew, Nathan, Rebekah, Brittney, and Emilee, and “Papa” to five grandchildren: Charlie, Xander, Percy, Jasper, and Bennett. His life is rooted in family, faith, and the call to walk with others wherever God leads.
